Directed by John Madden, whose legendary films include Shakespeare in Love and Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, the campaign captures the vibrancy of the festive period, with party preparations in full swing, glitzy tinsel and colourful paper chains strewn from ceilings, and general merriment filling the house. Naturally, comedian, actress and British icon Jennifer Saunders plays hostess, looking every inch the glamorous diva in Burberry’s Heath quilted cape.
As she welcomes her party guests (including film, fashion and sporting heroes), each arrives sporting Burberry’s very best seasonal outerwear, in both heritage and modern silhouettes, and laden with elegant, thoughtful gifts from the brand. Naomi Campbell shows off the classic Trerose trench coat while Ncuti Gatwa wraps up in a contemporary marsh green iteration. Rosie Huntington-Whitely rocks the short Fitzrovia trench, and Son Heung-min pulls off the scout green Harrogate duffle coat in truly timeless style.
